Hey folks, welcome to the Local Spin's new/revised website. Here's you can find out about submitting information, where to send CDs for review and a few other interesting tidbits... First of all The Local Spin is an offbeat weekly column reporting and giving occasional commentary on the local music "scene". It comes out every Thursday in the Rutland Herald's Invite section. But before I get into story telling mode here's basic information, (you really should read on though 'cause there's some good stuff below).

Please submit your listings, information to George via e-mail at: localspin@gmail.com. Please have information in by Monday evening for that Thursday. I usually start typing it up after work on Mondays, so...you can also mail or drop materials off in person and clearly marked for Local Spin at 27 Wales St., Rutland,VT by Friday, the week before you want it considered for the following Thursday.
