Nationally known for his presentations on work, mental illness, and recovery George brings not only a message of hope, but also challenges people to raise their expectations around recovery while confronting outdated beliefs. (more....) George has had the opportunity to speak at conferences in Georgia, Alaska, and Oregon as well as more local ones in Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York. George is willing to come and speak to any group around the topics of mental illness, recovery, work, systems change, as well as the power of creativity in recovery. While his focus is in mental health, his message is relevant to folks with all types of disabilities, as well as "chronically normal" people too. |
